BEDFORD — Autumn Trace Senior Community will host a free scam prevention presentation next month aimed at helping seniors and the broader community recognize and avoid common fraud schemes.

The event is scheduled for 2 p.m. Feb. 11 at Autumn Trace in Bedford. Bedford Police Detective Justin Dodd will lead a 30- to 45-minute presentation focused on identifying scams, avoiding becoming a victim, and understanding what steps to take if someone has already been targeted. A question-and-answer session will follow.

“Scam prevention is a critical issue, particularly for seniors,” said Tammy Bailey, community relations director at Autumn Trace. “We want to make sure our residents and the local community feel secure and informed.”
