Bedford Police Pension Board will meet for elections and annual business

BEDFORD The Bedford Police Department Pension Board has scheduled a public session to conduct essential administrative business and elect new leadership. The meeting is set for Thursday, February 5, 2026, at 1:30 p.m.

The primary focus of the upcoming session will be the Election of Officers. The board will address the expiring terms of two key members:

  • Pension Secretary: Brian Turpen.
  • Trustee: Major Jeremy Bridges.

Following a formal discussion and vote, the board will also review and approve the minutes from the previous meeting held on September 25, 2025.

The board is comprised of both Ex Officio Trustees and elected members:

  • Chairperson: Mayor Sam Craig.
  • Treasurer: Billie Tumey.
  • Department Leadership: Chief Terry Moore.
  • Current Trustees: Captain Drew Lemke (2024-2026), Rob Herr (Retired Officer, 2024-2026), Col. Joe DeWees (2025-2027), and Major Blake Wade (2025-2027).
